- The Highway Traffic Act and the Ambulance Act of Ontario
- Defensive and Cooperative driving Principals - plan ahead, be seen and create escapes
- Pre-shift vehicle inspections
- Emergency Response Driving and "Red Mist" - recognition of internal and external
distractions and their effects on driving performance
- Identifying the "Primary Task" and recognizing "Secondary Tasks" and the necessity of
managing the driving environment in dynamic situations
- Situation analysis of collision-producing traffic scenarios.
- Safe backing techniques
- Time & Space Management
- Vehicle Handling
- Intersection Hazards
- The risk of "Wakes Accidents"
